Bull Elk

This elk I did randomly as I was sitting at my computer, utterly board. So I pulled out a photo of an elk, and sketched away. This is the end result, an elk bugling.

If you would like to purchase a print of this drawing, you can do so here.

I actually like this one better than the last elk...It's more intimidating! ;)

I likes it.

@ Emma-lee - Thanks!! The fir on it's back was quite hard to do, because it changes hues =)

Nice work! Just so happens I found this exact image online as well and made a carved and glazed ceramic plaque of it! :-) Your work is awesome!

Hi, Aloysius Achille.

Well, first off, thank you for asking my permission before using my piece. A lot of people don't do that, and it means a lot to me.

And thank you for the sweet compliment =)

Sure, go ahead and use it, as long as you make sure the signature doesn't get cropped off (if you need help with it, just contact me again), and that you link it back to this blog. Other than that, go ahead!

Thanks!! - Leauphaun

Can I use this picture as a profile picture on facebook for a new band I am forming? It would be temporary until I get a new picture.

Hi :)

First off, thank you for asking before using... it means a lot to me. However, since Facebook claims rights to photos once they've been posted on their site, I would ask that you refrain from using it on facebook. Thanks!
