Commissions, Part 2

Peggy's Cove
If you would like to purchase a print of this drawing, you can do so here.

United Grain Elevators

Eagle
If you would like to purchase a print of this drawing, you can do so here.
This is the second half of my Commissions.
The top drawing is of Peggy's Cove, in Halifax. The middle is of United Grain Elevators (prairie), and the bottom drawing is for my pastor's, spiritual father (the man who helped him on his spiritual journey).

The hardest part was the grass in the Grain picture. I had to draw it 2 full times! I have no idea how to draw it, but I think it will have to do.

OHH!! 'Tis hard to pick, but methinks the eagle is my favorite!! Did you have a reference picture on that?

*shakes head* You just keep getting better and better... first time landscapes? You blow people away. XD

Hehehe, I think that my favourite has to be between the Mountain Reflection, and the United Grain Elevators. But the eagle is cool too!!
Yup, I had a picture for every drawing.
*gets tears in eyes* That is soo sweet, Vrenith. That really touched me :')

But the glory goes to God for giving me this gift, and then letting me touch people's lives with it. But I thank yee :)

Yes, those would probably be my next favorites... I love landscapes, but I seem drawn to movement--partially why I love drawings of waterfalls and such. :)

I agree. :) And in Him you do amazingly! ...And touch a lot of lives. :) You were my inspiration, a lot of the time.

Now that I know I can draw them, I love them too :)
Ah, I can see why those would be your favorite! I guess I'm drawin to movement as well, becuase I love drawing pictures of horses in mid stride.

Really?? Well, then God has done something through me, because it was Him who inspired you! That I believe!!

I'm excited at where you are headed, in your artwork, so keep drawing and do your best!! I know this is a total clichè, but practice makes perfect :)

Yeah. Not to mention the fact that when I'M not moving, I want to do something that PORTRAYS movement. XD I haven't done many horses in mid-stride, but I really want to... partially why I love drawing horses so much is because of all their muscles, how their body is shaped--'tis perfect. I love highlighting a sweaty coat, or just a shiny one. I really love how the picture looks--that the horse, at the snap of a hand, could bolt. Horses LOOK like their made for movement.

Sorry, rambling. XD

I agree! I thank both. :) God for doing it and you for allowing God to use you for it. :)

I'm sorry that I haven't posted anything on my blog (pictrures). I hope to soon! I just finished a Rocky Mountain horse profile.

May be cliche, but practice DOES make perfect, no matter how much the phrase is used. :)

Absolutely! I'm debating what horse to draw... I have a giant book of horses (no, literally giant--its two feet tall or more!), and it has hundreds of great pictures in it, but then I wouldn't be able to take it somewhere... so I'll probably start one from that and another from a carriable picture, so I can have something to work on when I leave the house. :)
